Joe Scarpone is by far one of my favorite chefs! The favor of his Italian cooking is the closest taste of my late Mother's cooking and no one surpassed her! Joe is a "Prince" to the palate! Love, love and love his food!

The food was tasty and well prepared. The calamari was great, a pasta dish with fresh (not frozen) gulf shrimp was also outstanding and the slow roasted pork on a bed of polenta....I'm goin back for more.

The chocolate dessert. MMMM! Seriously that gooey crunch deliciousness!!!! should be illegal.=)

The food here is outstanding. I tried several different pastas, all of which were wonderful, but the real highlight is the gnocchi. The dining room is inviting and unpretentious, the waitstaff friendly, and the food... My dinner here was truly a pleasure.

Fantastic Italian food. The restaurant is warm and casual, and feels like a trattoria in Italy. The gnocchi is the lightest yet most decadent i've ever had. Do yourself a favor and order it!

I was thrilled when I found out that Joe was opening another place. If you're looking for really well prepared Italian food, you've found it at Ulivo!
